In my current work I am responding to the fragmented complexity of contemporary life. I am extremely interested in psychology and this feeds into my work. Some of my paintings explore the play between pure abstraction and figuration. I enjoy surprising the viewer through the power of colour and how this contrasts with the imagery revealed beneath the layers that gives way to further and deeper meaning.
